Everything but the kitchen sink here. Excellent little convenience store. Decent prices and well inventoried.
I’ve had consistently positive experiences with La Casa and their staff over the years, but one recent visit really stood out and felt worth sharing. I called in a takeout order and figured they were busy since it took a few tries to get through. Annette (always kind and consistent), was upfront about it being a full house and made an effort to give a realistic timeline, which I appreciated. When my partner arrived, it turned out the timing was off and the order wasn’t ready yet. Ryan was working that night and just owned it, apologized, and was genuinely empathetic. He comped our entire order (three items) and added a dessert. That’s absolutely unheard of and the kind of service that sticks with you. I’m grateful to have this place nearby. Everyone I’ve brought there has had positively memorable experiences, both with the food and the staff
Ryan and his staff are top notch. Saying top notch the burgers are the best u will find in a long time. Hands down
Absolutely the best, friendliest, and small town vibe of a place. If you're passing through and dont stop in you dont know what you're missing!
To be fair, this restaurant has no competition anywhere close. The food was pretty good, considering it a lot of the mains were deep fried. Over a couple of days, we had wings, fries, a Reuben, chicken wrap, fish and chips, a hamburger, poutine. It was good. I guess I wanted more variety for supper. Considering the isolation, the prices weren't too bad either. During the dinner and lunch rushes, they were slammed and it took a long time to get your food. Everything was served in takeout boxes.
